Evidence / TriAxis
TriAxis Learning Analytics
Most training is measured by whether people turned up and felt good about it. TriAxis measures whether the work actually changed.
TriAxis sits on top of a training programme and asks a harder question than the usual one. Not "did people complete it", but "did capability change, and can we tell the training caused the change rather than took the credit for it".
It presents the same evidence four ways, for four audiences.
- Learner view shows one person's before-and-after across the skills a programme targeted.
- Manager view rolls that up to a team.
- L&D view looks across programmes.
- Leadership view turns it into business impact: time saved, error rates, and a return figure leadership can actually weigh.
The piece I am most pleased with is the Attribution Honesty panel on the Leadership view. It separates the value the training plausibly caused from the value that merely correlated with it, and it is honest about the part it cannot attribute at all. A measurement tool that overclaims is just a nicer-looking version of the problem it is meant to solve.
